Volunteers are an important part of the People In Transition, "My Sister’s Place" team. Your contribution as a volunteer allows us to provide the best service and support to our women and children. Whether as a group or as individuals, volunteers "help us to help".
Get involved in the South Simcoe County community and make a difference in the lives of residents at "My Sister's Place". You can share your time, talents, skills and ideas to help us provide secure refuge and support services to women and their children. Volunteering is a great way for students to meet their O.S.S.D. volunteering requirements.
You can do a lot by giving a little spare time. Whether organizing or helping to carry out a fundraising event in the community, such as distributing pamphlets, folding newsletters or making phone calls, we appreciate each of your contributions, large or small.
Join a committee that suits your interests - Public Awareness, Fundraising, Finance, Human Resources, or Property and Maintenance. Our elected Board of Directors, which directs policy and leads the committees, are also volunteers. To find out more, contact the administration office at (705) 435-9400, ext. 225 or email info@mysistersplace.ca. |
